Weekly Photo Challenge: Quest

A quest: a search in order to find something or an attempt to achieve something difficult. This weeks Daily Photo Challenge is all about the topic Quest. I guess the meaning behind this word differs a lot for everybody.

For me personally it means achieving something. University and the exams can be a quest. Or a challenging hike. However, for me a quest is when you reach or even are able to overcome your own limits.

 

The photograph was made during quite a long hike (over 4 hours) in the canton of Valais, in Switzerland.
